Poly Plastics Moldable Plastic Kit

This stuff is really neat. You just soak the pellets in hot water (150-160 degrees F) for few minutes and it becomes a stretchy taffy like consistency that can be molded into any shape! I for see using it all around the house for fixing little things, but it would also be great for crafts (which is probably it’s primary purpose).

This kit also comes with colored plastic pellets that you can mix in to the normal translucent white stuff to tint it to all kinds of shades. They include a mixing chart to help you get the color you want.

WARNING: I am not encouraging using it to do the following, just illustrating a hack I used it for the other day. I hold no responsibility for you burning your house down or setting yourself on fire.

Now that that’s out of the way… I used it the other day when I had a butane canister meant for a camp stove but I needed to refill a butane torch with. The tip of the canister was just a little too big to go into the refill valve on the torch. But I looked around my junk drawer and figured out that the ink tube from a ball point pen fit in the valve perfectly. I used a teaspoon or so of the Poly Plastics and made an adapter from the can tip to the ball point pen tube and successfully refilled the torch!
