LED Winter Hat

I really like LED headlamps, but wearing them in the winter in combination with a hat never works out very well because if I put the hat on first the straps slip around and if I put the headlight on first I can’t get the hat all the way on. This solves that dilemma by combining the two.

The LEDs are sewn into the hat and angled down slightly so the light goes where you need it. Sure it’s not as adjustible or as bright as a dedicated headlamp, but it works well for most winter tasks.

Where the wires connect to the LEDs does look a little fragile though and I might add some hot glue there as strain relief to prevent the wires from breaking over time. But other than that it is a nice and useful hat!
