This manual can opener has so many uses. It uses the new method, where the edges of the lid on the can are dulled, making it difficult to cut yourself. In fact it works so well, it didn’t look like it cut the can. I went around and around and wondered what I was doing wrong. It was already opened, all I had to do was remove the lid. Very smooth and clean cut. The item itself is rather large, making it easy to hold while opening cans. This is a must in any kitchen or bar area. Really great gift idea, especially for someone new at making beer and starting their own bar.
