I had high hopes for this key finder but my expectations weren’t really met. Yes it works and I found that it does beep loud enough to be found. My issue was that the range is lacking. Indoors I couldn’t be more than 1 room away and get it to start beeping. Outdoors in a straight line it only consistently worked from just 40 ft away, nowhere near the advertised 30 m/100 ft max.

The key fobs are also a little on the chunky side.

It’s probably fine if what you want to do is find your keys when you lost them in the couch, or left them in your coat pocket, but I wouldn’t want to attach it to my cellphone (too big). I had hoped to attach it to my cats’ collars so when the cats lose them in a bush I can recover them. But chances are with only a 40 ft range I won’t be close enough to make the alarms go off.
