This scale arrived packaged very well in Styrofoam and a nice box. The batteries were installed and wrapped in plastic, so they had to be removed to take off the plastic. I was glad they were included. The digital display is really easy to read. Pushing the UNIT button changes from kg to lbs., etc. It remembers the last UNIT that was last used. The TARE button clears everything, but not one I will use often.
It is a nice size to fit in my kitchen drawer easily.
