I love using tracing paper.  This paper from U.S. Art Supply is exceptional quality and all ready to go.  I find that it will give me a huge head start with my drawing.  I love to do pencil drawings and sometimes add some colored pencil to the mix.    I highly recommend this tracing paper.  It is excellent.

Here is an example of how easy this paper is to use and how it will enhance your drawings.  This is how I do the transfer.

Start by tracing the outline of a picture onto the tracing paper using a dark pencil (I use a dark pencil)

Flip over the tracing paper onto drawing paper (U.S. Art Supply Drawing Paper)

Rub gently over the pencil parks to transfer the pencil marks onto the drawing paper

Here you have a replica of your original picture.  You can shade and color as you like.
