This is a very pretty corkscrew. It’s compact but also unfolds to help you get lots of leverage to get the cork out. It’s not as easy as one of those automatic “rabbit” style ones, but it’s also a fraction of the size. It’s better than most minimalist corkscrews I’ve used in the past. It also has a fold out foil cutter.
The wine pourer/aerator seals well around the neck of the bottle and doesn’t fall out once you start pouring. It has 3 little veins in the opening that introduce turbulence and aerate the wine as it pours. The lip has a double edge to eliminate drips without having to rotate the bottle carefully too.
Both items come in a nice box suitable for gifts.
