This is a neat little pen with a camera built in. The video it records is reasonable quality for such a tiny pinhole camera. The 32GB storage will hold a lot of video. The pen has a little bit of a delay before it starts recording, but once you take that into account it is easy to use. It’s a little larger than an average non-disposible pen, but I don’t think it would look out of place. The video below was recorded by the pen.
A nice added feature is the little plastic slider on the clip that puts a cover over the lens. This has the effect of blacking out the video so you could use the pen to record just audio. Video compression should reduce the file size greatly because a non-changing all black screen compresses well.
It is also able to take pictures. You put it into picture mode by double-clicking the function button when it’s not recording then single clicks take a picture… there’s a bit of a delay so the test pictures I took are a little shaky.
