This is a bright, compact headlamp. I like that the strap has a large adjustment range, down from a size that would fit a 4 year old all the way up to someone with a head bigger than mine. I normally prefer a headlamp with the battery compartment in the back so it is more balanced because they stay on better, but this one is light and because of the nice strap seems to stay put just fine.

The angle detents are solid, which is important to keep the light pointing in the right spot.

I like that the white and red lights are two separate switches, so I don’t have to scroll through the white lights (thus ruining night vision) to get to the red ones. The white lights have several brightness settings and an “SOS” flash mode. The red lights, which are dimmer than the white but still usable, have just full on and flash modes.

Overall it’s a really nice headlamp.
